|DVD cant get louder

guys,

i had a local shop put in doms kit and i also put in a farenheit dvd player. they said they hard wired it to xm with something similar to the blitz cable. my problem is that its not loud enough. is this a typical problem with hardwiring to xm? iits currently half as loud as when i use my cd player for music. when i crank it all the way up to 40 u cant even tell.

did this store mess it up or is this a typical problem ?

i just did a quick comparison the stereo volume settings go from 0 to 40. playing a dvd at 40 is equal to listening to the radio at like 12. i even messed with the settings on the dvd player and it only got a lil bit louder.

sounds like the audio shop mess u[ the wiring somewhere for the audio. I would suggest having them take out whatever audio sutff they put in and refund you for it and you get the USA SPEC HON2Y and install it yourself. I have it and when listening to a dvd, volume 12 is pretty lound and any lounder might make me deaf.

Does your DVD player have its own volume settings?

my dvd does have its own volume settings. It's maxed out and still nothing. I'm pretty sure the shops going to blame the DVD player but I'm going to try anyway.
