Just Zaino'ed the TL. Want to wash my car and am wondering if using the high pressure soapy water wand harms the finish, or can I go ahead and use it moderately to remove dirt. I am lazy and this is the quickest way to remove post rainfall debris.

 

I don't think the high pressure water will hurt the finish, if you keep it at a safe distance. But, my concern would be the harshness of the soap.

My suggestion is to beg the car wash attendent at the car wash you to to for a copy of the MSDS sheet for the soap they put in their car wash, then fax it to Zaino and ask their opinion. My guess is that they'll look at the PH of the soap, etc., and give you their best guess.

I plan to do this myself and will provide feedback later.
