Zaino

I am contemplating using Zaino on my vehicle but first I'd like to hear the good, bad and the ugly about using it...

Yup! The SEARCH function. This is the topic most of the thread have already discussed. I can vouch for the good about it though.

I have been using Zaino for about 3 years. I was HIGHLY skeptical, and followed the Zaino forums on Edmunds for year before a decided to try it. I was SURE that NOTHING could give me better shine than I was capable of getting with my power buffer, 3M and Meguiars, and all the special stuff I had.

Well, I was BLOWN AWAY! After only one coat on our old Accord, the neighbors were stopping to gawk. After 3 coats, it was beyond amazing.

The GOOD - the BEST shine and the BEST protection. It so slippery that most dirt won't stick. It is REALLY easy and fast to use. For me - 15 minutes to wipe it on the entire car, 5 to wipe off.

The BAD - It costs about $80 to buy a complete kit of what you will need to do the BEST job. However, you use only a tiny bit, so the kit can last 2 years.

Also- you don't use Zaino like wax. You have to learn new habits.

Once you see the results, you will find yourself compelled to do "just another coat" over and over!

The UGLY - Everyone else's cars after you have a Zaino shine!

:worship: Very funny!! Have a question for you on the tints, what film did you use? I asked this on another thread but I am curious to know what works with our GPS/Navi.

My Tinter uses Johnson films. He has done 7 dars for us over the years, and works for many of the car dealers in his area, so I value his judgement.

Johnson films are guaranteed for life at ANY dealer, not just the one that did the installing.

Good Luck!

Have you had any problems with scratches? Was the felt installed? Thanks

I assume that that was addressed to me?
NO - No felt, no scratches. My tinter said that that felt would not help - it will also hold the grit against the glass.

I NEVER roll down the windows anyway! That's one way to avoid the scratches.

One of my Audis had bad scratching on one window many years ago. I eventually had that window re-done. I believe that the previous owner lived at the beach, and got some sand in the window.

automophile, has Zaino contacted you yet?

You know for their infomercial?

I swear your first paragraph sound straight out of an infomercial.

So, really, have they?

It's just the way it happened, boiled down to a couple of sentences.

Actually, there a many many people saying the same things on other car forums!
