xion lights

Are xion headlamps something that you can put on any car or do they need special wiring.

What kind of car are you looking to add them to?

I'll tell ya, once I drove with them on the TL, once I drove my CL on the weekend once I felt like I couldn't even see, haha. I drove my Uncle's CTS tonight and felt like I couldn't see again!

P.S. I think you mean, xenon. You might have better luck searching using xenon A quick search on google.com came up with www.coolbulbs.com. It looks like it's about $330 for the conversion kit. I'm sure someone on here can give you a recommendation for a site / pricing.

The TL comes with HID High Intensity Discharge lights with bulbs that cost 200 each at the dealer!

Standard systems with Xenon bulbs look like brown puddles of light in comparison

Upgraded HID bulbs are also available- I went with Kaixen 6000k- thats the color rating, a little whiter with blue tint for my low beams than the factory 4300k rating.

For full conversion kits look in The Black Market of our Off Topic section
Excelerate has kits for everything!

Conversion kits are illegal, don't work, and should not be installed on any car not designed for HID headlights. HID "Kits" scatter light and are bad for oncoming traffic. I would say either buy a car with factory HID's or get some good halogen bulbs for your non HID system, silverstars work well in my experience. If you do the research you will find what I'm saying to be 100% correct. The "kits" are just taking you for a ride, it's all advertising hype. You can buy a lot of Silver stars (or equivlent) for 2-400 dollars and still be legal.

the KITS sold by azine approved vendor Excelerate, are high quality- not just some guy with crap parts for sale

I have Silverstars on 1 car-and as my high beams on the TL (no comparison to the HID-they simply add a little more light in certain parts of the view), xenon bulbs on regular system on the truck...

blueracer- I am guessing you are with GoldStar Racing or similar??
and offer the LE viewpoint- is this correct?
we can always use the LEGAL view on some issues
I removed my chinese made hi beams bulbs because they are blue and reflect fully when lights off- I dont want to be mistaken as impersonating....

Actually blueracer is right, they are illegal and hence the kits and any aftermarket bulbs will have "meant for off road use ONLY" imprinted on them. As far is scattering light, he is also right about that and puts out a glare to oncomming traffic and that is why they made them illegal.

However what you can do is purchase an aftermarket kit and install them by doing a projector retrofit in your housing and now you have a 100% OEM solution.
