I think this is what it goes back to, lots of people don't care about their own property so when it comes to yours they don't give a damn. Sucks about your car dude.

Sorry to see your busted window man. Yeah the TL definitely seems to be a magnet for this. I have been paranoid about this I HATE HATE parking in the streets anytime I am in NY anywhere. One time in Queens I got keyed and I almost expected it to happen. I try to garage the car anytime I can now. I hardly want to go see half my friends who live here and there in NYC just because they don't have good parking, lol. My friends think I am jerkoff but they don't understand everytime I park (especially overnight) I take a huge risk. What's annoying is my friend has a beautiful Escalade that is a company truck and he parks that thing anywhere he wants all the time in NYC and NOTHING ever happens to it!

The biggest problem for a modded car is that I can't have peace of mind anytime I park, I know it sounds extreme but it's so annoying anytime I am anywhere hoping I return to my untouched car. I feel like buying a beater car like an old GTI or WRX just for the winter time, rainy days, daily commutes, shopping and street parking.....Just use the TL for the nice occasions.
