WTF!!! Someone stole my stock wheels

So much for Easter Sunday, i'm woken up to loud screams by my mother. I'm half awake and I hear her say someone stole my wheels, i'm like BS april fools has passed, but sure enough they're gone. I didn't have anything special, stock type-S wheels, now I can't go to workand I have to deal with my insurance. They also damaged the left side of the body kit. Question, can the dealership loan, rent, whatever some rims to at least move the car.

Cant answer your question, but Im really sorry to hear about your car =\

Are the wheel locks universal or something? Im curious how they took your rims.

I couldn't help but lol at those pics. At least the damage is minimal. You can get a set of type-s wheels with tires for less than $1000 these days.

Dayum, that bites. I guess the Type-S wheels are kinda popular. Several people I know said that they really like them. Hope your insurance takes care of it. This may be a good opportunity to get some aftermarket wheels. If not, try the black market for replacements that are cheaper.

wow, right in your drive way too. Do your wheels have any special marks, curb rash, etc? You should keep a look out for them on the forums, craigs list, etc.

one of them has a nick on one of the spokes I have no idea how it got there, other than that they were mint, on the sidewall of the tires you could still see that red dot that they put on them when they were new.

So I gotta know...
Does your mother live in Fairfax or Bowie?

That makes me nervous considering I live quite close to Faifax.

Reminds me of jmbnova's wheels getting stolen from the car while it was at the Radley Acura in Woodbridge, and the dealership accepted NO LIABILITY.

Wow.... I can't believe this still happens..and your area looks pretty nice as well... I agree with everyone else... all that trouble to steal stock type-S rims which can be had for like $1k or less... Sorry to hear that they cracked your side skirt too, hopefully they didn't damage anythign else.

Damn dude...that is seriously effed up. See if you can get cash out of your insurer and get aftermarket wheels to replace...just be sure to get good locks with your new setup either way.

That is disheartening. Can't believe they took them while your car was sitting in your driveway, in what looks to be a nice neighborhood. Hopefully your insurance handles this quickly and you get it back to its original condition.

Are acrua wheel locks universal? I wouldn't think so but not sure how many variations they can have on the lock lug.

Locks are pointless, no matter what brand, i watched my bodyman take one off in 3 seconds.

This happened in bowie, it didnt have any locks on. But like many of you have said its a nice neighborhood quite as hell ,nothing ever happens and then this completely caught us off guard, reported it to the insurance and now i just have to wait for them to call me back.

This sucks and pretty local too.
Didn't know type S wheels were that popular.
Look for a random set to pop up or craigslist or something.
I hope you insurance covers

Parking in the garage won't a change thing. I had worse happen inside my garage.... where everything was taken apart..besides my wheels, I had 5 different sets of keys

If you go to home depo they have a tool that fits into secret key you have... quite simple. Sadly.

I hate all fuckers that steal... They should implement technology of self-exploding tires if they are more than 5 feet away from the car...boom!

Same thing happened to me over a yr ago....my type s wheels got stolen in my garage... insurance covered it but they replaced them with refurbished type s wheels. I didnt notice until i read the invoice like 3 months after....but wheels looked the same just the color was slightly lighter....very hard to notice. As far as renting rims...I just called my local acura dealership and they sent a tow guy with rims so he could tow my car to the dealership. My insurance company(gieco) sent the rims directly to the dealership. The only thing I paid for was my deductible($500) and wheel locks($40).

that really sucks..looks like they sorta did a clean job since they did minimal damage to your car. could even be a local tl'er that stoled your wheels.

did you happen to have an alarm??? that should of scared them off...and you might wanna invenst in some type of weapon as well. its no joke if someone is gonna steal my ****

It's amazing what a $40 set of wheel locks can do. Where are yours?
As mentioned, you are lucky they didn't just drop it on the ground damaging your rotors also.

This really has me thinking about my next investment.
Something with shock sensors but the some what funny thing is that my neighbors to my left and right both have exhaust on their cars so they would probably set it off all the time where no one would pay attention if it went off when someone stole it. Then on top of that im suppose to be getting my exhaust installed in a few weeks. Extra wheels are the kinda thing I would have lying around but not yet for this car. Again good luck
