Does anyone know where I can get a Type S for invoice? I've been trying and the closest I can get is $1000 over invoice from internet pricing I'm looking for a 6 speed in NHBP. Thanks in advance guys

i got mine for $35945 at columbia in cincinnati, and had an email offer for the same thing from a dealer in Indy, but i dont remember which dealer that was off hand.

Yeah there is 2 of them i use superior for service but got both of my acuras at columbia, they are way better in prices, and i even know the family that owns superior very well and couldnt get them to match the price of columbia.

The salesman i delt with was there internet guy, did all they stuff online till the day i went in to drive the car. his name was Daniel. I dont remember his last name off hand.

Good Luck...also, i dont know where you are, but the dealer in indy had some good incentives like free service for 50K miles and lifetime OEM tire replacement! I think it was Hubler Acura in Indy?

I'd be surprised if you can buy TL-S for invoice, the car just came out 5 months ago. In my area everytime new gen TL comes out, dealers dont even want to talk to you for less than MSRP (sticker) for first 1yr

They can be had in most places for invoice, other places like SoCal, you can get them for UNDER invoice haha

I bought my TL type S from Superior in Cincinnati for $36,200. Columbia could not get me the color combo I wanted in a timely manner, but Superior had it in stock. I also got them to sell me the complete underbody kit for $900 installed. Salesman was Brandon, the internet sales manager.

Thanks Larry, Superior told me that would only discount $1000 since the manuals are so rare...

I bought mine from Hubler Acura in Greenwood IN (Suburb just South of Indy) for $200 over invoice. I guess I should have gone through the internet guy, that price was negotiating with the salesman on the last day in March. The do have a lot of Type-S TL's on their lot, more than the regular TL's so they may be willing to deal on them more than the TL. There woere only 4 07 TL's on the lot when we purchased, they had at least 8 to 10 Type S's!

Is everyone getting these prices on Auto's? Every dealership seems to be telling me only $1000 off manuals... and they can deal more with Auto's since they have so many.

i tried contacting him when i was looking for mine, only got one reply which seemed to be an automatic reply...after that i never heard anything back from them, but at that time columbia had a ton of type S's on the lot....thats a pretty good deal on the kit too, im trying to decide if i wanna get it or wait for the ron jon kit.....What part of cincy you from?

I'm in Anderson Township on the East Side. Did you keep your CL or did you trade it in? I kept mine and gave it to my son, who promptly totaled it. I bought him a new Honda SI sedan last week to replace the CL. I also bought it from Superior, who gave me a great deal since I had already bought the TL Type S from them.

I still have it, but im gonna sell it, ive only drove it 2 times since ive had the TL-S, Im over on the west side of town, but work near the east side at lunken airport.


Glad to see you had good experience at superior, i really like that dealership, Paul in service has been great and is mod friendly!! but ive never had luck dealing with them on any car in the last 6yrs. Columbia, came out of the gate w/ the $35,900 quote by email...and superior never answered.

In Dec 06 I was quoted by a saleman in Libertyville, IL $34,995.95. If I sold my car myself. They offered me a BAD trade on my 06 TL. But told me to sell it myself, and come back. When you don't trade in a car, its very easy for them and they still get a kickback from Acura. Also many dealers want to sell quantity to make their dealer look good to Corp. Acura.
