Wrong oil filter question

I got the oil changed today and autozone gave me the wrong filter duh... anyway the oil change guy had a mobil1 he said he would use and im not 100% sure it was the correct filter. i heard him say the style number (i think37) but not the model number. obviously it went on and its not leaking. I will check it as soon as i get home but im about 30 min away.

anyway so whats the problem if he put the wrong filter on?

M1-110 or M1-104 both work for our cars. M1-104 is preferred since it's a bigger filter.

wouldnt be so bad if i could actually see it but it just happens to be turned the wrong way and they always put them on a little to tight to loosen by hand. guess ill just roll with it till i can get it home and get up under it.

it was M1-104 I usually get the 110. I hate when someone else works on my car at least I know exactly what happens when i do it my self. i should start changing the oil again but disposal kinda sucks.

It worked out for you, you got a bigger/better filter.

^ Yep. The 104 was actually the recommended filter until the smaller 110 came out.
