Our painted items are Factory Color Match to the new car, sometimes over the years when the vehicle is exposed to the sun, rain and snow, the paint on your car tends to have more faded color than what you originally had, and that is normal. Therefore, we can’t guarantee that the colors of our painted item will 100% match your current car’s paint, but we do guarantee it will match the factory new car’s paint. Our painted items are also been treated with clear coat finish to have the long last bright shinning color. However for the areas where are easily hit by rocks while driving, we cannot guarantee the paint remains indestructible. i've bought one. it's great. sure, it's not the oem lip, but it's also not the oem lip price! color match was perfect!

 

benefit of no drilling is that if someone tries to jack it, they can have it, and wont mess up your car as much in the process as opposed to the OEM which would be bolted down..and its hell of a lot cheaper..

 

I think this depends on the area you live in and where you visit. if you live in the getto then i would say you need one thats bolted down. Also need to take into consideration that over time the 3m tape might peel but for the price you could go buy another one. I have been looking at this for awhile trying to decide with spoiler i like better

 

I bought mine from xenonspecialist, too. It's a great lip spoiler but be warned that it's on the smaller side (width-wise) compared to OEM or Type-S spoilers. I'm quite happy with mine though, and the color match was perfect. Very secure installation, too.

 

...hmm for 30 bucks I might just buy a new one...the one I have in my garage was damaged because someone dropped it. Now the paint on the corner is all jacked up

 

would you need a heavy duty trunk lid mounting hardware to support a heavier spoiler (the one with drilled holes)?
