Acura of Athens

This is the second car I've purchased from Acura of Athens, and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. While Acura Carland is technically closer, the guys in Athens are worth the drive. They'll even drive to my house (almost 60 miles) with a loaner and pick up my car for any type of service, returning it when they're done. They give 2 free details a year as well.

I highly recommend them!

I would buy again from Acura of Cleveland. Good sales experience and their service department has been very freindly and professional.

Sure. 2nd TL purchased from Thomas Acura, Covina CA - despite what other members said about Thomas, they've always treated me well and taken care of my cars.

Got mine from Anthony of Montclair Acura (NJ), would probably beat them up a little more on the price, but I was very happy with the deal and the service I've received from them.

i went to 3 acura dealerships in my area and all of them suck major ####. i got fed up so i just decided to buy from the nicest salesperson.

for all you philadelphia people, avoid montgomeryville acura, ardmore acura and sussman acura. all 3 dealerships are full of incompetent idiots.

I almost bought my 04 from them but they just couldn't get ahold of the color combo I was after. That ''pickup your car'' offer was enticing though, and they were like 1000 cheaper than Carland. But alas, the gwinnett gangsters won out, and I bought from them. I would do it again if I could have the same sales guy, I think his name was Matt Kirby? Part of my decision was made when their sister store, Honda Carland in Roswell, let me drive home an 04 Accord EX v6 so my wife could compare them side by side with the TL. I thought that pretty unique, so I decided to go with Carland.

If I were to do it ALL again, and Athens had the combo I wanted, i'd give'em a go

Yes, Marin Acura was the only dealership that was willing to beat the price of anything else I brought in. I went to several other dealerships with the price Marin Acura gave me and none were willing to even sit down and talk about working out a better deal. I'm pretty confident that if I were in the market for another Acura I'd find it to be true again.

Yes to Mile high Acura. Good price, and was treated well by both the salesman & sales manager. They went out of their way to accomodate all of my requests.

Yes both to Walker Acura in Metairie, LA and Acura of Baton Rouge where the TL came from.

The only reason I didn't go back to Walker was that they were still shut down from Katrina when I needed a new car. Great service advisor (Rocky) who takes care of EVERYTHING!

you'd dismiss an entire brand of car because of one idiot dealer? You gotta just make sure they know you are going to another dealer for your next Acura

Please explain what happened.

I woulds never buy another car from Rothenstal. Damage my car twice in service, and the sales experience was terrible! Never again for me.

For sales, Radley's in VA. is my place. Just go in, name my price and done..

No f-ing way...I bought mine from Paragon Acura in Queens, NY .
I made the mistake of basing my decision solely on the lowest price I could find. They ended up causing me months and months of frustration and literally over 100 calls and 5 or 6 trips to the dealership to clear up simple sales issues.

In the future I know that price is NOT the only important thing, and there should be other factors involved..

Nope because Karen Radley Acura in Woodbridge and the GM are crooks. They screwed me outta a $400 part after I have purchased 3 vehicles from them and this was the last.

Jerry Damson - Hunstville, AL

I would, oh wait I did. I bought my car in April of 05 from Jerry Damson in Huntsville, AL, then in December I purchased a 04 MDX for my wife at the same dealer and from the same salesman. The buying experience was very smooth and had no complaints. What I really enjoy is the service department. I actually use the Honda service there rather then the Acura. I had a great service team from when I owned my Prelude and spent 3 years working with them. So now my wife and I take our vehicles to the Honda service department. This is one of the few dealerships in the Huntsville Area that I would ever use.

When I first started looking for the car, I had gone up there, I already knew what I wanted and wouldn't be purchasing for 6 months or so. So I test drove one of the 5AT just to see how it felt. I then when on my way. He called me a month or so later when the had 6MT on the lot, wrong color, but able to drive it and see how it felt. Needless to say I was in love with the 6MT. But had to wait to purchase. Once I was ready, I put down a deposit and the found me a Black on Black Navi 6MT.

I got mine from Continental Acura in Naperville. I bought my first new car from them, a 1991 Acura Integra. They have always treated me well, even when I bought a 2001 CL-S from another dealer, but used them for service. Because of their service department, I made sure I bought my 2006 TL from them.

Yes. Pikes Peak Acura in Colorado Springs. They're the only dealer in the southern half of Colorado, but they don't act like it - they act like they're competing with the adjacent Lexus and Mercedes dealers.

Great service department, liberal with loaners, friendly and fair sales staff.

Don't much care for the finance department.

Yes to Motorcars Acura in Bedford, OH. I've bought two TLs (2G and 3G) from the same salesman, and am actively considering buying an RL from the dealership.

Sorry about your experience with Paragon. You can search the forum for several negative threads on them. They screwed me too and I ended up buying at Rallye.
