Is this worth it?

I've been negotiating for a 2008 TL Type S. It's in very good shape...few scratches on the rims that the dealer is fixing right now. I'm also negotiating for a set of all-seasons to be installed. The car has 55K on in for mileage. I drove it once, but did not hear any rattles (that I see sometimes plague the TL). I checked the carfax and new brake pads are not mentioned. What are the chances with 55K on this that the brake pads are original? Should I be concerned? I've got them to agree to $22K for a price. Does this seem fair? Based on internet research, I feel like I'm doing very well...I just want to be ultra-prepared for the final negotiation; which will most likely happen next week. Thanks for any advice...this is my first post on any forum.

Assuming everything checks out e.g. it's not a salvage title, sounds like a decent deal.

$22k is a steal if everything checks out with no major probs.

mmac, you've got a good deal-with or without the brake job. I would doubt that the brake pads are originals-not at 55,000 miles.

That's not even broken in yet on an Acura.

22k is definitely a steal if the car has a clean history. I will say get it before someone else take off with it.

Based on all my research over the past month that is a good price for that high mileage.
