Word of warning regarding 9006 fog bulb swaps

I got my Silverstars today for my 04 TL fogs and they aren't nearly as white as I thought they would be...still some yellow (weren't as white as they are in my RL anyway). So to those in the past thread interested in getting bulbs, may want go with the thread starter's PIAA selection...in the pics he posted the PIAAs looked to be a fairly close match in color temp to the factory HIDs. The Silverstars as I mentioned were still a bit yellow.

PIIAs are great and are far superior to most bulbs I have found in the past. Lots of the hyper white style bulbs are a little blue or yello, but the PIIAs are pretty white. If anyone around here needs them, the place I got my work done sells them for a reasonable price

Reason I went with Silverstars was 'cause I had good luck with them before. In my RL they're very white, nearly as white as my TL's HID, while in the fogs of my truck the PIAAs are more blue...so I went with the Silverstars.

Oh well. $50 down the sh!tter. Figure I would save everyone else their money.

Get some Eaglite. They are cheap and they last a long time with match the stock HIDS... check out www.midnightmoose.com ... Everyone on the Sec Gen uses them. PIAAs are overrated and only last about 6 months.. Eaglites last longer...
