I have to say that I LIKE It To I still would like to see the black panels in a parchment interior, just for comparison.

I like both but I think the darker wood in the '07-'08 TL has a richer, more expensive look to it.

I'm putting real CF over all my wood next week...the wood looks nice, but I like CF on the parchment better.

Post up some pics, when you get finished! Now is this the overlay, or something else?

Are you asking to see the 07-08 dark wood? I have that, not as nice of a picture as the older style wood, but you can still get an idea on it.

I like the darker wood over the lighter wood any day. Carbon fiber tops all IMO.

I've never been a fan of wood trim (light or dark) except in some luxury cars that use real wood but that's rare. Even in my friend's CL600, the wood is ugly to me.

Of course it's only an opinion so I don't want to offend anyone. 9 out of 10 people would probably say my turbo car is one of the ugliest cars around so I understand.

Everyone has an opinion...
Mine: Wood is "old man" style to me... just looks tacky. Would have to side with the OP

But to each their own!

I think that NBP/Camel with wood trim looks great, but then again I'm an "old man".

I actually preferred the lighter wood in my 04 vs the darker wood in my 08. As another poster said, to each his own.

I like the wood panels if it was on a MORE luxuroius car. But even then, i favor CF.

Gotcha.

Once you drive the car for a while, you pretty much forget about it. I see mine everyday and don't think two shits about it. I think I would prefer the 07-08 dark wood in mine, but it's not worth the time or money to swap it out. Plus I love my wood shifter. It's soft as a baby's ass
