Wood Grain project TL

Here it is, it's not a perfect match but for the price I think it looks ok.

I think it has potential, I like the wood on the top sunroof part but in my opinion you should use some wood parts and not others. Mix and match em up to see which combination looks best.

Love the TL. Hate the wood.

if you have a black or beige TL with tan interior, i don't see why it would look so disgusting.

you can make it look classy IMO

I have to say that's some nice work creating replacement pieces ... I only wonder how much work it is to get something like that done @___@
however, like everyone else said, it might not be the best option for a TL. It does not seem to go along with the rest of the car too well. You should try some different options too sir. Nonetheless, awesome willingness to stray from stock!!! power to you!

agreed. Definatelly a nice attempt. Wood is nice on a TL when its suttle. A Caddy would be more suiting of wood grain. The Gold Emblem has to go also.

haha.. respect the opinion of others but don't aways follow it.

If you want to do something, do it. being unique is all ya got with you and your TL.
If you pursue this and it looks nice, there will be massive compliments along with YOU liking your car.

I'd say go for it but don't use all those wooden pieces... like the one they stick onto your speedometer... please throw that piece away.. lol

I really hate to diss this...but whomever did this work did a commendable job - difficult and beautiful work. But, DMZ's is more like it - simply accents (I prefer a darker stain color though).

From the one photo on top, it looks like the entire front has been paneled. Not feelin it - not at all.

This is what I like, Thats why you have so many colors out there so you can pick the one you like, I don't like to have what everybody has, unique I call it, personal...

Terrible. Truely awful.

I might expect this type of butchering from a teenager but not from a 44-year-old. Are those wood trim pieces just stickers that you lay over the existing trim?

it's not what I would have done, but if you like it, it really doesn't matter what everyone else thinks.

Critics are allways welcome, I'm not asking for anybodys opinion, but I do respect them....Like u said it's my car, but it's not butcher...all original parts are in one pice....
