Wipers

Can anyone recommend a good pair of windshield wipers?

I installed a pair bosch and it streaked so I replaced them with Rain X Latitude. The Rain X Latitude seems to miss 2 spots (directly in front of the driver and passenger) when in use.

Anybody with the same experience?

I have Rain-X Repel wipers on both my TL and my wife's car and have been happy with them except for the one that's on the rear wiper on her car, which seems to smudge more.

I think the Acura blades work best. I've tried Bosch and PIAA and didn't think either of them did a good job.

^Agreed. OEM refills are dirt cheap too. Switch them out 3 times a year and you're still under aftermarket costs...

I recently got Rain X Latitute beam blade ones and they work great for me. I have never bought top of the line blades, and never found them worth the money.

Just make sure you get beam blades. They look better with your car too.

I recently bought the new Michelin Stealth wipers for my CR-V and 350Z. So far so good.

$4. Cheaper if you get Accord ones, it's like less then $3.

the new Rain X Fusion wiper blades have been working great for me, just like the silicon piaa. I got them for free when they had a mail-in rebate for them.

OEM here also-- in Los Angeles, the OEM inserts last a year or two.
They work perfectly, and there is no snow or ice, so I don't see the need for aftermarket blades.

I have the Piaa Super Silicone wipers. Purchased them last summer. It's been about a year now and i'm already getting streaks and sometimes very small missed spots. Also one time they started squeaking but than I just took some rubbing alcohol and cleaned both blades.

Still streaks and occoasionally misses a spot. My brother has the Rain X Latitudes in his 09 camry and we were sitting in a touch-less car wash and he showed me his wipers and those suckers wiped very good. Clean and evenly across the windshield and wiped it dry without any excess water after the first swipe...

My PIAA super silcones however requires 2-3 wipes to get the windshield dry... It tends to leave some water after the 1st wipe. The reason why I went with PIAA over RainX latitudes in the first place was because everyones review about PIAA on here was good. My experience is the opposite.

I live in TX so it's not like it snows and rains here a lot.

what they said^^^ all 3 cars at my house have them. work well so far. hated the rain-x beam blades...one of them snapped off the bracket while in use. bracket then went on to scratch the crap out of my windshield.

I've had great luck with the Bosch Icons. I like the frameless wipers for their lack of noise. Have to replace them every year but that's true of every non silicone wiper in my climate. I also like the look better.

I may try silicone once I get the windshield replaced. I don't want the crack and chips to hurt the wipers.

We've never had any problems with OEM blades, except the fact we change them out every 3k miles. I'm sure there are way better options aside from OEM, but why bother when they only cost $3.99 to replace at our local Honda dealer...

I've been very happy with the Rain-X Latitudes, but apparently other people aren't.

Just put in OEM inserts. Roughly $7.50 for both shipped to my house and 10 minutes to put them on. Love the performance of the OEM blades and a damn good deal compared to replacing the whole blade with aftermarket.

If you have Costco membership, they have Goodyear blades for $7.99. It's got the "aerodynamic" blade shape and works just like all those frameless ones. I've used them for about two years so far and still good.
