How in the hell have you gotten your blades to last several years. I've never gotten a blade to last more than a year. I live in NJ, so we only get a avg amount of rain and maybe 2-3 or good snow storms in the winter so I usually can get a year out of a blade set.

LOL now that I think about it, I think its because we did not get as much rain in 2009. Its actually time to replace mine but I think I am just gonna go with the Bosch ICONS or RainX and try those out.

Well the only caution I have about the RainX lats is that I tried them last year and 1/3 of the passenger side blade would not touch the window. I took them back immediately because I wasn't going to put that type of money out for a blade that wasn't going to touch the window properly and smear the passenger corner!

I tried PIAA. They worked great for a few months but eventually started streaking as well. I ended up going back to OEM refills and just changing them every six months or so.

I've been using Valeo's for about 6 years, and they last me at least 2 years on a set. My TL-S is garaged, which helps, but I drive about 35K a year.

I went from the PIAA Super Silicones to the Bosche Icon's. Bottom line is I have a set of PIAA's in the mail now. Don't worry about looks most people won't even see them. The way they clear the windshield in the rain is the most important.

blkaspec, do you like the PIAA forza hybrid and how does it conform to the windshield? I was thinking about buying a set of them for my 2010 TL. The only problem is they don't come in the passenger size (19") so I would either have to downsize to an 18" or upsize to a 20"

i really like it. conforms very well and does a great job clearing the window, snow and rain. like you, i could only get the hybrid for the drivers side. i opted for the standard model with the spoiler for the passenger side. my girlfriend is always amazed how well these wipers clear my windshield and how the water almost clears itself without even using the wipers because of the silicone that is applied during use. i provided links to the two blades i use. i would purchase again and if i were you i would stick with the correct size blade and just buy the two different models.

Yeah they look pretty sweet I just wanted to make sure they don't miss parts of the windshield. Don't you think it would be ok to downsize to a 18" on the passenger side, considering it is only a difference of half an inch of each (top and bottom) of the wiper? Let me know what you think. Thanks

blkaspec...I am an idiot!! I didn't think about the section of the windshield that would be missed by downsizing the passenger wiper to an 18". What do you think about the Super Silicone wiper for both? Do you like the Super Sporza Silicone wiper you have too?

blkaspec...this is what I decided to do. I'm getting OEM Honda Accord wipers because they are the same size (26" & 19"). But I was wondering, do you think that the PIAA inserts would fit into these wipers so I could still get the silicone effect?

The PIAAs come in those sizes. I got mine from here:

AZ vendors rock! Call up Ken and he will hook you up.

Yeah I know they make the size, but do the inserts slide in and lock the same way? On PIAA's website it said the inserts can be used in various other types of blades, as long as they have the square-type claw and the same stop.
