Had my new windshield installed when I was out of the country and the guy did not align the driver side wiper correctly. Everything else went fine with the install so this is a relatively minor issue. I'd have the shop remove the wiper and put it back on correctly but I'm moving to Oregon and wont have time for them to do that. If anyone has a scan of the service manual on how to remove the wiper (RonA) that would be much appreciated. I assume there is already one floating around the forums but my search revealed nothing. If someone finds a thread on the exact same thing please call me a search noob.

 

ok nevermind, figured it out. i think my brain still isnt working from the mess i had to deal with in england yesterday.

How much for the windshield and who did it? I've been waiting for the prices to come down.

 

I had Marin Auto Glass in Novato do it (well I left the car at my parents when I was gone and they set it up) Cost was 635 which was the lowest by a few hundred. I thought I would be able to get it into the 500 dollar range but didnt have much luck with that. I'm hoping this windshield also lasts a little longer than the last one.
