windshield distortion

Noticed today looking from driver's seat to the right, in front of A pillar on right side, the view through the windshield is very distorted. Anyone else have this? It is a flaw but I doubt that I would bother to have it "fixed" since that would involve major surgery...but it is nonetheless a flaw. Most windshields have a little distortion here and there but this is severe.

Mine is like that too. It seems to be right at the curve of the windshield, and I can't quite decide whether it's a flaw or just the natural curvature of the glass. It doesn't seriously bother me (yet).

Every once in a while I catch this when looking to the right, but normally it is not seen.

I do not plan on having it replaced.

Wasn't it mentioned somewhere,
that the 04TL glass was 5mm thick:
to aid in cutting down exterior noises?

I haven't noticed any distortion, but I have noticed that if you look at the glass from a certain angle in sunlight, you can see what appears to be a bunch of round spots arranged in a checkered pattern. I've seen this on the side windows as well as the rear window. I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but I'm hoping it is common to most glass in the TLs. Looking into or out of the windows in normal circumstances -- you can't see it, but it's pretty obvious if you stand at just the right angle...

I only see that when wearing polarized sunglasses and then it is only the front windows (not the rears).
