Do not get weathertechs..... I bought a set for my gf's 03 accord coupe..... it LOOKED nice and sat more flush than OEM, but functioned like crap

When I rolled the window down, the fkin visor would go down too

and when I tried to roll it up, the visor was too thick and wouldnt let the window close completely/smoothly

horrible experience w/ weathertech visors...

just stick w/ oem

nothing beats oem, it has that all the way flush design no breaks in between front and rear visor.

I disagree.
I was rocking WeatherTechs for quite some time and had relatively few issues with them. They functioned great. I did have minor issues with the rear visors sliding down the window channel when it was cold out, but I was very happy with them.
I recently purchased a set of OEM visors b/c I like the flow of the lines better.
I have a full set of the WeatherTechs + 1 extrat BNIB front set for sale in the BM, if you are interested. https://acurazine.com/forums/car-parts-sale-361/2006-tl-items-sale-stock-air-intake-side-markers-philips-85122-hid-oem-j-pipe-784611/

LIKE-

I agree with what a lot of others said, if you gonna go for visors get the OEM ones, they are made specifically for the car and hence flow well with the rest of the car. The quality is great too, no fitment issues. I had these on my tinted TLs for years, they look good and serve a purpose.

DISLIKE-

Having said that, the visors make already small windows look smaller, especially if the windows aren't tinted.

In general, out-of-window visibility become worse. Driver's visibility to the sides when turning deteriorate further since visors add thickness to already chunky front column pillars.

As expected, the plastic become faded, foggy and scratched over time. Thus they afford even less visibility. The visors simply look old and tired after years of use and need replacement.

OEM Window Visors

I'm considering getting the OEM window visors for my black '07 TL-S.

Anyone know if there is any additional wind noise against these visors when the windows are closed? I've heard that can happen to some visors.

Visors

I personally don't like the oem visors. Take a look at the ones from Weathertech. These fit inside the window track, they aren't glued on to the outside of the car like the OEM's are. This is good because no matter how much it rains, they do not leak. I've had them on my cars for the last 15 years. AND it's a great company too, fantastic customer support.

One year (it was the first really nice day), I opened up all the windows. I heard a POP and when I looked, the rear passenger side visor had come off (on the hi-way). So I called them up and asked if I could buy just one visor. The person said "heck I'll ship you out another pair for free!". They were shipped fedex and I got them 2 days later. Plus the OEM ones tend to be very dark,
Weathertech's are very lightly tinted you don't even notice them. You can open the windows a couple of inches (on a hot day).

Like I said, just take a look how they are fitted on the car, check out the OEMs and the Weathertech's.

Thanks dmarcus48! I actually was considering the Weathertech ones as well.

But how's the wind noise when your windows are closed?

I don't hear any additional wind noise from the visors, if anything there's less wind noise. Windows closed, you won't even know they are there.
