I found a 4-way modulator online the other day. I can't remember the link, but if I find it again I will post it. Now, fyi, most modulators are two-way....meaning that one modulator controls two windows.

My question is, where would I wire the modulator to? I really don't wanna wire to each door considering I would need to run at least 12 ga. because of the amperage window motor draw. Does anyone know if I could wire it up in the driver's door since the driver's controls can manipulate all windows?

I am good with electrical work and confident in my abilities; however, I've never messed with window modulators before. Thanks, Alan.




- EDIT - Also, I'd want the sunroof to close as well, so I guess I'd have to find a 5-way or get the four-way mod. plus a 2-way (don't think anyone makes a single, but who knows)

 

Couldnt you run it from the drivers side door sides all 4 windows can be controlled from there?

 

That's what I am asking.
