Hello everyone,

First time posting, glad to be part of the community here. I've had my Anthracite TL w/navi for about 2 months now and love it. Not sure if I'm posting in the right area, but here goes anyway. Does anyone have any recommendation for window tinting in the Boston area?

I've searched the forums and come up with good information about tints, but want to know if there's any places around here that people have tried. I was thinking about ceramic (to avoid possibility of interference with the nav unit) and moleskin (? to prevent scratches?). Thanks!

 

Where in MA are you located? There is Extreme Clean in Weymouth, Tint King (not the chain, a single guy) in Burlington and a guy on Rt 106 in Bridgewater that is great as well. Those are the 3 best known in the area.

How much do all these guys charge for black all around? Is the back window one piece? I do not like it when tint shops use two separate pieces to do the back window because at night when a car shines its beams you can see the line where the two pieces meet.

My last car I got done at Mr. Tints in West Springfield, MA for $125 with lifetime warranty for 35% all around. I am in Boston now and need someone to hook me up around here. Thank in advance.

 

Awesome, thanks for the info. I'm right in the Allston/Brighton area, so I don't mind the drive to Burlington or Billerica. I looked up Tint King on yellowpages.com and came up with only the Billerica address. I guess I will try them out. Thanks a bunch everyone!

 

Yep, they do the back window in one piece. I used the top of the line tint which is the 3M color stable tint. Cost me $250. Supposedly this tint is guaranteed to not turn purple and is the thickest film, which won't sratch as easily. Theres also a lifetime warranty for any bubbles...etc.
