In light of all the window tint discussion, I am curious as to where I can get it done in the Bay Area.

Perhaps someone that has already tinted their TL's windows in the Bay Area could point me in the right direction? Recommend a company or individual? How much should I expect to pay for side and rear windows?

I am looking to receive the lowest level of tinting (35%), so as to avoid being too obvious that I have disregarded the law.

I am well aware of the satellite reception issue for the Navigation model TL's. Is there a method/material that can be used to avoid this?

I did a little research on my own, and hopefully my information will help you folks out in the Bay Area.

Huper Optik seems to utilize a ceramic film that does NOT interfere with Navigation-related satellite reception. (Other films may utilize metal which can interfere with reception).

I located two seemingly reputable auto tinting companies in the Bay Area through TintDude.com:
1) Automall Tint Factory (Fremont)
2) California Sunscreen Window Tint (San Leandro)

Automall has a website, which I perused and found very informative (that's where I found the information on Huper Optik tint film). They have been in business for ~15yrs, so I trust they know what they're doing.

Anyway, I would appreciate any firsthand experience that any of you may have with any Bay Area auto tinting companies.
