Viriginia is one of the states with more restrictive tinting laws.

I just bought my '05 TL in May (Nighthawk/Ebony) and am really begining to feel the heat after it sits in the parking lot of my office all day. Even with a windshield shade, the seats are really heating up. So, even though I think it will look sweet, I mostly want the tinting for practical reasons.

Does anyone here know of a reputable tint shop in the Metro Washington, D.C. area, preferably Northern Virginia? Does anyone know the exact spec for tinting under Virginia law?

Yea dude, I live in Woodbridge in Prince William County, I got my windows tinted on my CL and my rents Honda Accord 35% back 50% front (legal limit in VA) at a place called LA tint in Woodbridge.

They did a sweet job. its been about a year, and hasnt been any bubbling or fading at all. THey got like 4 locations.

 

The Tint Shoppe in Woodbridge ask for Rick. Also try VA Tint in Manassas talk to Brent there. These are 2 of the best Tint shops around IMHO.

 

I got my car done at the same shop (Woodbridge) but I went for 35% all around, looks great!
