Ziebart Tidy Car in Riverdale did my old 2000 VW JEtta and i never had a problem. Are you gonna have the felt installed and everything or are you just gonna go get it done as is? What % tint are getting?

 

i heard its better getting it done when the weather is warmer...

when i got tints on my previous car, it was cold and some areas didnt dry as nice...the heat is suppose to help absorb the excess water.

any thoughts on this? i was wondering myself.

 

yes i'm waiting myself till the spring definitely. Otherwise you run into it drying awkward, white and pastey. It eventually goes away but who needs the aggrevation.

 

I was thinking about using 35% on the sides. I didn't know about the weather issue and drying.

i got 20% before...35% is kinda light, in my opinion...but just depends how dark you like it

with the weather, another case is the excess water that dries out in the sun...but in the cold weather, it has no chance to dry...just freezes in place...you should ask the tint guy what he thinks...
