Will I get shocked?
If i touch behind the hid bulb when its on with the cover off? It says i can possibly get shocked with 50k volts or something ![Tomato](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/tomato.gif)
Reason i ask is: I recent installed the zkw-r lenses and i can not for the life of me get my driver side cutoff line to sharpen. The passenger side is razor sharp just installed the projector that's all it took. But the driver side nothing i tried the washer trick, rotating the lens, even tapping the cutoff line shield thing but nothing. "i think ive gone a bit blind too since i did all this at night with the lights on" The only other thing i think it might be is the hid bulb somehow its to close to the shield or maybe its turned sideways.
mods move thread if needed
Thanks!

The best idea would be to first disconnect the negative and then positive battery cables. After that, wait about five minutes to play it safe and wear some rubber gloves. The gloves will act as insulators to prevent a shock to you and any possible short if there is any roaming electricity. In addition, they will prevent oil on your hands from damaging the bulbs. Regardless of what anyone says, those headlights are dangerous and it is best to take a few simple precautions. I have changed them before following these steps and have had zero problems. Good luck.
