By getting new rims bring the trade in value up? I have quite a few scratches on my TL type S rims and want to know what they look for as far trading in my 02 type s for the 04 tl. Thanks

 

Probably won't bring up the value enough to justify buying new wheels.

 

aftermarket mods dont bring up the value...they lower it
as for your wheels they might give you something extra but not much...better off selling them seperate

 

Don't worry about buying new wheels, as noted above, you will not get enough extra on your deal to cover the new ones you buy. Save your money to use on the down payment.

 

Dealers look for all OEM parts, quality of exterior and interior. One tip: Clean your trunk and the trunk jamb (the painted area surround the trunk...don't know if that makes sense), clean engine bay too. I saw a dealer get so picky, they looking into the engine bay and looked EVERYWHERE on the car, it was crazy but I'm sure they want to know what they are getting.

 

Don't bother. Dealer will most likely give you NADA wholesale value and won't even consider extras on the car.
