Anybody else's wife getting pissed that they spend too much time on this forum?

Mine thought the hours online would cease once the research and purchase was completed.

Now everytime I'm online, even if it's work-related, I receive a scowl and a peek over my shoulder to see if I'm "looking at car stuff again?!".

I'm sure the membership to this club is greater than 2!

 

Just wondering - am I the only female here??

 

I'm getting my car this weekend.....I wonder if my facination with this website will curve. I think not??

I have the same problem with my girlfriend. She just doesn't understand why its so important for me to keep checking. I even check the site from my cell phone.

Internet is part of life. 2 hours should be the allowance for TL.com. Wife isn't mad if merely 2 hours surfing...

 

My wife can't wait for me to get my car so I will stop checking this site. Little does she know!!! This is a great site.

I surf on my portable from the bed and converse with her at the same time I'm typing responses, so my wife doesn't miss me too much.

I have to get my daily dose of A-TL or I go into withdrawl.

 

Its great to be single and on your own. No one gives a crap

 

Anyone's boss think they spend too much time here??? I think I was a much more productive employee before my purchase of the TL and my introduction to this forum

 

Wife, girlfriend, boyfriend...whatever....just turn the table on them. See I told my wife this site helped me make an informed decision on my purchase of "The Ride" which saves money. Saving money = a red flag to your wife as more for her. I also tell her that I check the forum as aften as possible to keep up with current items...alerts....discounts....etc. Her response..."good thinking honey" BINGO!!!! Touchdown!!!!

Besides, she actually gets more upset that I spend the night in my car they she does me browsing these forums.

 

Good thing I don't have a wife anymore!!!

 

The wife has had many concerns over the last 3 months of my Acura-Tl forum research:

I think that now that I have the car (6MT), she is starting to appreciate it more.

She tells her friends it is "Chat,"
I say it is INTEL.

She's coming around.

Girl friend thought i was weird spending soo much time chatting on the A-TL site. Until I told her that if I didn't talk to you guys about cars (Acura in particular) she'd have to do the listening. Needless to say she quickly approved of the site.

 

Same here I am addicted to this site along with my350z and maxima org, when I'm at home and work I check it often. When at home she says dam* you on that computer again at those dam* car sites, I just laugh and say you shoulb glad I'm not at a porn site and she laughs.

 

My wife can't understand online forums, she thinks I'm wasting my time, but since she gets the remote control when I'm online she is very happy.

 

All my time here is while I`m working.............what a great job!!!

Yep.. I think it's time I take this web site off my BookMarks so people don't pick on me.

 

I'm on several forums, this one (used to have a TL), ClubLexus (have a GS430), RoadFly (have a Z3), and FreshAlloy (was thinking about getting a G35 coupe). Yes, it's addictive.

Luckily my wife just laughs about the amount of time I spend browsing these things.

As far as other females on the forum, my brother-in-law picked up an '04 TL and I think my sister scans the forum for him to see what's going on.
