Why so few TL's on the road?

I've had my new TL for over a year and have only seen a dozen or so of them around. They get great write-ups and ratings and sales are supposed to be strong but where are they? They're not in South Florida.

i see a whole bunch in MI... but of course, most of 'em are ladies/housewives/milfs who spend their day at the malls and whatnot, so they're not on AZ. come to think of it, there's maybe 5 MI members here.

anyway, there are plenty of TL's out there. maybe people in FL prefer RWD sports cars/verts?

There are 8 of them sitting in my parking lot here at my work...a three story parking garage. 1 silver, 1 goldish color?, few blacks, a few anthracites.

I see far too many every day. It is my motivation to mod the hell out of my car, make it unique! Also, i run my mods by a couple lady friends first to make sure they will add to the sex appeal of the car

There's a lot here in NJ as well... I can't drive out for 15 mins anymore without seeing at least 2...

I have to say though Red and Green are rare to see... SSM, Anthracite, Black, and Blue are the most common I have seen... I've seen a few WDP too.

It's good and bad... bad since our cars aren't that uncommon but great since it means that many people have excellent taste in cars and recognize the value we get for what we are paying.

You want to see TLs, come to Northern Virginia. I see five or six on the way home each day.

Maybe the problem here is that the Acura dealers are a distance away. More Infiniti and BMW dealers closer hence the reason for more G35's and 3-Series cars around.

Well they're here in Austin. I see em' everyday. But I will admit that this was not the case last year when the TL changed bodystyles.

The numbers are diredtly related to the dealerships. Lots here in Charlotte, NC with local dealers but when I go to Myrtle Beach, SC I feel like I am driving something as rare as a Maybach (No Acura dealers within 100 miles)

Yeah, sounds about right. We have about 5 dealers in Dade/Broward alone.

Gosh I see them all over the place.
For example I commute each day on a canyon road from Mailbu to an inland valley.
Most traffic is going the other way.
In the 20 minutes it takes me to traverse the 13 or so miles I must see 7 to 10 3G
TL's and that not counting mine.
I might guess 40 or 50 commute this way everyday.
THEY'RE EVERYWHERE!!!

Even here in CT, I see at least 2-3 per day. Kind of sucks

With my Mazda 6 sport, I saw like 5 the whole year I had it.

Here in Seattle they are EVERYWHERE ! ! ! But most people dont do anything to their TL's around here, everything is OEM, I have one with a body kit and ASPEC rims, makes it very unique at least. I think because there are 3 Acura dealers in the area might have alot to do with it, that there are so many.

Here in central Ohio, I see maybe 2 or 3 a day. Usually the same ones... almost one of every color except I have not seen a DGP (Dark Green Pearl?) one yet, nor a RRP (Redondo Red Pearl -- which surprises me). I do see about a thousand BMW's, however. I kinda like being a little unique -- people still give the TL a second look

Since they are made a few miles away, surprised you don't see more. Probably more than a few of the Marysville Honda employees have them. They are becoming more common in north Altanta area (3 dealers close by.)

I've been moaning for some time about the proliferation of TL's here. I now see at least 3 a day. As someone else said, 2G's are like Camry's and Accords. I'll bet within a couple of years, the 3G will be like that, too. I agree with most people, though, don't see many modded ones...only seen a 4 or 5 with spoilers (either kind), and only seen 2 with underbody kits...the only truly modded one I've seen is ACCURATEin's. All of the other drivers seem to be middle-aged to old folks, half men, half women.

Here in Tallahassee every kid and their mother has a second or third gen TL. When I got my second gen SSM TL-S in late 01, there werent any in Key West were I lived. Just two TL-P's. Then come six months later theres about 15 more out of nowhere and almost half were SSM TL-s's. And Key West is only 2 miles by 4 miles so you could understand how I felt.

Plenty of them here in Toronto.

I only have to drive 10Km to get to work and I always see between 3-5 3G TLs. Last year at this same time, I would never see a single one.

Keep in mind, that's only 10Kms of driving which takes me about 15-20 mins on suburbian streets.

We're up to our elbows in TLs here in Dallas... There is an Anthracite/Ebony TL at church. There is another Anthracite/Ebony TL at the gym. I parked next to an Anthracity/Ebony TL at Chilis from the same dealership with the same license and inspection sticker dates! It's like my car has its own body double! Antracite, Black, and Silver seem to rule the day here in DFW.

I've seen a growing handful driving around in Raleigh, but strangely enough so far I've only seen Black, White, and Anthracite...

I see at least 3 -5 a day on my commute to Reading PA...plus 3 to 4 in the lot at work....and believe it or not, I actually see another Deset Mist out there everyday (don't flame me, I still love my color). So, if you are the person going east on 422 every morning towards Royersford at approx. 7:15am, let me know. I'll buy the coffee.

why so few TL's on the road? cuz they're getting hit left and right, so they're all in the body shop! i think at least 4 or 5 TL's on this board have gotten damaged in the past 2 weeks. that's horrible!!
