redline is at many import parts stores, not the big name stores, the little guy who supplies the repair shops!
look for names like Universal auto parts-- for some
try a netsearch- many racers are dealers too

my local import parts place stocks most redline and honda products, and amzoil too!
everything for a 60kmile service in 1 stop- they even carry seafoam~

check local speed shops or race car prep shops- they use it

So, I decided to be a guinea pig and give EDGE 5w30 a shot. Hard to beat $25 for 5qts and a filter, that's comparable in price to any of the other OTC syns out there.

I'll let you know my non-scientific opinion about it in about four months.

Well its been one year later and I have been running the castrol edge 5W30 in my 01 CL and my misses 07 CX7. I will be changing the oil tomorrow. Does anyone know a lab that can test the oil for particulates? My current one year opinion (non scientific of course) is that the oil had held up bases on gas mileage. Iam looking for a more quantitative bases to purchase my next 10 quarts of oil.

I did not see his quote earlier. Castrol Edge is a grp III dino oil. Not related to M1 EP.

One year later again and it's oil change time. I will be using the castrol edge 5W30 again. My car has been averaging 285mi per tank. That's a 10 mile per fill up improvement.

The only bad thing I have to say about it is that it's over priced. But then again, all oil has taken a rise in price in my area lately.

I started running this oil @ 130K in my old 98 Volvo, I can tell you I ran it up until about 180K when I pulled my oil pan off to change sump O rings and there was not one ounce of sludge. That probably has to do with religious OCI's as well but just thought I'd toss some input around.
