Who would win?

Close race ... you have low end tq advantage. He has 200hp + mods and weights less. Both are front wheel drive. Chuck everything in your trunk and you may increase your chance of beating the Sentra.

I'll have to check the V-board to find out how responsive the Spec V is to bolt ons. Word of mouth has it that they can get into the 14s with basic bolt ons but for certain.

My cousin has an 05 Spec V with i/p/h/e. While he's never gone to the track, I've actually had a chance to drive it a few times and that thing is pretty damn quick. Race him from a roll, like from 50-60mph, cause I think you would have a very good shot at winning since you have an edge, top-end wise.

Well, the Spec V is just as fast as a RSX-S. Atleast very close with the RSX-S winning by 1/2 car lengths.
If you can take down an RSX-S you will win.
also, depends on the driver, and if he put on some heavy wheels

a stock rsx-s is much faster than a stock spec V. c'mon guys we are talking about a sentra with the altima 2.5 litre. It isn't that fast. I have wasted a few of these by a wide margin. rsx-s is a much better race for me. rsx-s is 0-60 in 6.2 if driven well. spec v is 0-60 in around 7 secs flat.

Well then 0-60: 7.0 seconds then is right on par with a TL-P.

Indeed, the RSX-S is probably as fast a subcompact as you can get, discounting FIs (WRX, Evo, SRT4, etc,...). IIRC, the RSX-S could chase down a stock EJ205 WRX ( on the new WRX).
That said, I wouldnt sleep on a well driven Spec V.
