Color doesn't much matter to me. The most important thing is accomodating the EDFC...

I haven't had a strut bar for the last 8 months.

 

Lets hope you havent warped any structural components.

 

doubtful...I guess we'll see when I try to put the bar on there.

The pictures on the first post show the Ti look and the Black chrome. Black and silver CF are exactly that. It is real CF overlaid on the bar and cleared like a hood would be. The polished aluminum is silver. At this time I do not have good color pictures as it is still in the prototype stages. Jason

Im new... whats a EDFC ??

 

I don't really mind if we go with polished or the cf. although i prefer th cf. I am still in either wAy!

EDFC (Electronic Damping Force Controller) makes it possible for the driver to control the damping force by controlling a motor installed in the shock absorber while being seated in the driver's seat. (stole that from tein's site)

if that first pic is titanium, i like. Why would a strut bar have a cf look? makes no sense...I want it to portray strength and durability not light weight...plus i dont want that stuff peeling off or anything.

Its actually the same Aluminum bar the Ti look bar would be, but with a Real carbon fiber wrap on it. That is why Mike prefers the polished, it has less weight because it does not have the CF and resin on it. It should not peel.

hey, would we be able to just get the bar w/o any paint on it? just the metal? I was thinking of custom painting it myself

 

I'd actually like to see a nice gunmetal, but I guess titanium is the closest equivalent.

 

I like the polished bar but will the ends be a different color like the cusco bar or will the whole bar be polished?
