They have received what I sent them and they are working on it. Once a CAD has been drawn, the parts can be made.

I am just now checking out this thread!! I can now have an EDFC without modification of my stock bar!! I love the idea of conveniently changing the TEINs from inside the car! Then I can really be like that commercial when they push the button and the road flips over to change to windy when you leave the office! Damn I love this car! And the AZ forum that came along with it!

Count me in!! (Glad it's the first bar)

Thats what I am hoping. I am still trying to figure out how many I will need to order. Right now, I know I have to order at least 100. But I am pretty sure I can sell more, not all TL drivers are on Acurazine. So I am pretty sure I can move them outside of AZ as well.

I generally like the screw mount round bar style as it allows you to pretension your bar a little bit. Id had the flat style ones and they either have slop in them which compromises their effectiveness or they have adjustment slots which you never end up being able to tighten down quite right.

Either way Im not really that interested. The TL isnt my track tool.

Cool Carbon Fiber Strut Bar

You got to make the carbon fiber bar look like the first one. Do that and I down. You can't beat it even if the price was $125.00. Real Talk.

I would likely lose interest at that point. Not paying to advertise AZ....it would just run the cost up to no benefit of the end user. Not knocking AZ...but paying extra to have it branded AZ is NOT a good idea! Not to mention...AZ most likely would not want this either as it would give them a certain amt of liability as well, as the AZ name is a trademark more or less that belongs to Astroboy and Soopa. I would stay far away from that idea unless pre-approved by one of them.

Is This going to be stronger then stock?

Question, I want to make sure I got this right....

If you put a more rigid front strut bar on a front drive car, would that induce understeer?

so in essence, you should not be changing out the front strut bar to a stronger one right?

No... a thicker front swaybar will introduce more understeer. A stiffer upper bar only increases body/chassis rigidity, forcing the suspension to do it's job.

I think you are right Mike. No AZ branding.

At this stage I am just having to wait. Once I have some information, I will post it. It is being worked on, but is going to take some time to finish.

Thank you Kennedy for answering the question.

Just for you!! Right now it looks like it will follow the design pattern of the one I posted. As far as color, I am not sure yet. I want to see what they can do. There are several options, the Ti look of the first one, black chrome, black carbon fiber overlay and silver carbon fiber overlay. These are possible, but will only do one of the colors for the first turnout. The carbon overlays will be more expensive.

None of these are confirmed, but if you would like to leave an opinion on which color choice you would like, that would be fine. It will more then likely be a majority decision. But, no color is guaranteed at this time. Jason

Titanium or polished aluminum...cheaper to do and not adding weight I dont want. Already have enough of that in this car! The black CF is just an overlay cover isnt it? If so...I am with the aforementioned. Less problematic in the long run!!

But...if you are just talking a finish - polished for me. If we are talking a titanium bar...that may be another thing. But if you are just having a Ti finish applied to the base aluminum bar....I want polished alum then.

The Ti bar will be just a finish, as we all know, to produce a real Ti bar would be pretty expensive. So I will mark you down for the Polished aluminum.

And yes, the CF is just an overlay. Purely for looks.

ya, thats what i said... right?

changing the stock one out for a stronger/thicker/more rigid one would give the car more understeer. something that we don't want on our cars.... right?
