You know what I was thinking? Its fun and give some motivation for the Azine family/community.

Why dont we do a "3GTL of the month"? Make it a sticky in the gallery or something. It will be fun. Almost like an Online car show, TSXCLUB does it, and it seems fun to them.

What the mods can do is, make a "sticky Poll or something" limit appx 10 car's per month to enter and have them give you their best photo and list of mods and the mods can post up 10 car's and have our community vote for the TL of the month. and maybe mods can give them some kind of tag they can put in their sig or something saying "3GTL of the month Aug or something" have Skwatoe cook something up.

I think it would be fun and motivate our Azine community to have fun with their car and if or who ever wins can have bragging rights and give them some self asteem.

actually there used to be a TL of the month thread...not sure why it died off...

but one of the mods (trancemission) would be the one who picked the TL..no voting...though i haven't seen a TL of the month in a while...but during its time, he picked like 4 or 5 different ones...i thought the same thing too a while ago how they should bring that back...

How about a random photo uploaded from an acurazine member. That rotates or changes every visit to the main page. Once clicked on you can make comments or rate it.

 

What TGC did is very efficient, I find.
I was surprised, when I first joined Azine, that it did not have a COTM [car of the month].

What TGC [The Galant Center] did was...

Open a thread where members would nominate ONE other member.
Members are not allowed to nominate themselves.
Nominations must include user name and a photo of the vehicle.
Members can only be nominated and can only nominate once.
Nominees must have a filled garage with minimum four photos and a list of mods.

From there the admins would discuss and select the top four.
A new thread is created with a poll.
The four winning nominees are on the poll along with their four pictures from the garage.
Members are then able to vote once.

After the winner for COTM has been voted for... a new thread was opened for them.
Several pictures of their rides are posted along with FULL mod list.
Usually a short speech is written by the winner.

Winner for COTM was not able to win consecutively.

They also opened a subforum just for COTM and COTY.

Winner for COTY receives a gift.

the concept is almost the same. as a gift they recieve a car of the month banner for the next month till the new winner is up.

 

Seriously right... I mean who cares. Its like winning the trophy for biggest epenis.

 

This sounds like a pretty good idea. I don't think I would ever get nominated with the way my car is jacked up in the air, but it would be fun, and something I think everybody would be interested.

I wouldn't want it to be one of those 46 page long threads though. It should be one thread opened at the beginning of the month and closed on the last day of the month. A folder containing each month's winners should be listed in order. Just my

And it would probably be the same looking cars every month. And in an effort to be the newest car of the month, someone is going to stretch a tire so much that it will be entirely flat.

 

How about instead of a TL of the Month, we can do a TL Superlatives. Things like:
- Fastest TL (Base, TL-S, modded)
- Lightest TL
- Most money spent on mods
- Most expensive mod
- Lowest drop
- Most mileage
- Most drastically modded
- Most recognizable
- Most beat up
- Best Rims
- Most likely to get pulled over
- Most problems
- Worst looking
- Best license plate
- Best gas mileage (via Trip counter)
- Highest top speed
- AZ Favorite

There could be a main list kept in the first post of the thread and then we can keep adding to it every month.

I've seen the COTM on other forums as well. Seems to work well for them.
