Especially in winter snows and the hottest heat of summer.

I dunno about you guys, but ok its in the garage at night but as soon as you drive its dirty from snow/salt/rain, so its not like it never gets dirty if you garage it.

I have had TONS more "damage" done with it being on the road and being parked in a lot versus being in my driveway.

Again, I think it boils down to the area you live in, and whether you make it look like a target for thieves.

Plus a garage will give you a secure place to work on all the DIY's that A'zine provides...

Parking outside 24/7 exposes you to a lot. Bird shit, Stuff from trees (sap, berries), pollen, etc. Hell, you can look at this thread to see what can happen.

I don't garage. My apartment complex has outdoor parking and so does my place of work, and during the summer days my car is always either in direct sunlight, or if I park under a tree for some shade, gets bird poop all over it. Neither the sun nor the bird poop has had any effect on the paint, and it's a 2004 car. Although it might be different if you're in the florida where the sun is much stronger, I've heard of people's dash cracking down south if they leave their cars out all the time.

For those who live where it snows and park in a heated garage, that is actually bad for your car as it accelerates rust.

I got a garage and I don't know how I could live without it. Getting into a car that's been sitting outside at -30 in the winter is the worst. And I am just generally scared that ppl will fuck up my car. Stupid kids are everywhere.

I used to park mine out on the street till it got eggs thrown at it and pop poured on it... after that it went right into the garage. If you can get it into a garage I would do it.
