Red face Who can beat this - 20 years in AHM cars?

So, curiosity has me asking, "Who has been in AHM cars longer than me?"

My wife and I have been driving Hondas now for 20 years straight. Here's the list of what we've owned:

'81 Accord
'85 Civic
'88 Accord
'94 Accord
'00 Odyssey
'03 Pilot
'04 TL

As an aside, my mother is also in her 20th year in AHM cars. Her list is '84 Accord, '88 Prelude, and '02 Accord.

If you can beat this, belly up to the bar and tell me about it!

I cannot beat it, and in fact don't even own a Honda product right now. But for those who wonder why people like me (a G35 owner) spend so much time on this forum, consider this:

I owned one of the very first Honda Accords in the U.S. in 1976 (mine was on the first shipment to the dealers).

All told, I have owned four Honda Accords, two Acuras, Five Honda Motorcylces, and one Honda lawnmower.

I can't beat it, but here's mine:

94 Accord LX - bought from Darrell Waltrip in Franklin TN - blew the AT @ 104,000 miles which led to the current TL (6MT).

94 Honda SX Mower (still going strong), 4.5HP, 2 speed, mulch

04 TL

04 MDX (wife's ride on order, due to arrive in June)

You went from a Accord Sedan in '99 to a NSX in '00 :wow:

Did you win the lottery or something

As to the topic, I'm not close either, but I'd be close to Acura only cars having owned or leased one for 10+ years.

Who has own a 92 Integra GSR 1.7 V-tech. Those for the first GSR only 1000 were made, that is what I hear. It was so so rare. I had one and I loved that car.

My lease was up on my Legend and I was moving back to Minneapolis, the SLX had about $7000 in incentives. I leased it for 36 months with a payment lower than my Legend. If you remember back then Acura quit making the Legend and there was nothing to replace it. It was a nice SUV for living up north in the snow. I did a lot of 4 wheeling in that SUV. That was fun!!

If you ever saw the poster "Justification for Higher Education" you know everything you need to know. The reason I went from '86 to '99 without buying a car was I was getting a Ph. D. in engineering. The '99 accord was because my wife's car got totaled and we had to have something but I hadn't yet saved enough to buy my dream car (the NSX). In late 2000, we were able to finally buy the NSX. I have had other cars in addition to the Honda/Acura's I've listed.

I wish I had won the lottery but actually I can't complain. I feel very lucky with my position in life.

Vtecbrain, you are the the man, I must admit!

BTW, I'm jealous that your TL is a 6MT. I had to go auto because of where I live - just too much stop and go here (ugh).
