vinylex rocks, but is a bit pricey. worth the money though. but with any of these products you should make sure you get it evenly on, or it looks just a bit funny. and leather conditioner for the dash? hmmm interesting.

you should clean with a mild soap before applying anything - I use 303 or vinylex. I would not put a leather treatment on vinyl - they need different chemical treatment.

I use aerospace 303 and it works perfect. What color is your dash? Mine is black and I had the same problem as you.

Clean with woolite 1:6 with water to clean with good towel or MF towel. Dry with another and apply 303 Aerospace protectant. Do this once a month and the dash woul be in original condition all the time.

Run, don't walk, to the nearest Ace Hardware and meet your master:

There was a thread about this where I posted some blingtacular pictures that didn't really help anybody. so maybe I can help now.

Yeah all the Ace Hardware's near me didnt' ahve it either. I ended up finding it by accident in a pool store (Patio Pools in my area). They were selling the 303 stuff as pool cover conditioner..

I used it and it works PERFECTLY.. just make sure to mask off plastic parts you don't want it to get on first. Also.. how often should I use it? the white sploochy's are coming back and its only been about 2 weeks. I didn't put very much on the first time though.

I use 303 with great results...it doesn't shine like Armor All, and leaves a nice "matt" finish that doesn't streak or blotch...great stuff!!!

that being 1 part woollite - 6 parts water? I'll give this a try. I don't doubt they need a cleaning - I happened to vaccum the part of the dash above steering wheel - it's the pitted part of the dash - the big round hump thingy - I was able to make lines where I had sucked dust and debris etc...I was amazed how dirty it actually was.

Really Ace Hardware? Cool. All I could find was a small pump style bottle - at EMS. I will check ACE. I knew John Madden would know where to get it.

303 is basically the altimate sunblock for your car's vinyl/interior.
There are 2/3 sources on how to get this stuff. I've seen the 303 in auctions on ebay. They even auction it off in gallon containers. You can also log onto their website: www.303products.com There you can type in your address and it will locate the nearest retailer, or you can purchase it straight through them. I would price all three sources and buy whatevers most convenient with you.

I have used both the vinylex and 303 and I prefer the 303. The vinylex does fine but is more difficult to get an even appearance with it then 303.
