I wont lie i wanted a WDP TL but after fixing mine up i was glad i went with NBP except if you get black just remember your going to be kicking your self in the ass when its dirty 2 hours after you wash it and the swirls and scratches show very easy... But when its clean NBP is awesome color

If I had to pick one or the other, WDP. I would make sure the bumpers matched, or have them re-painted to match.
NBP is killer, but too much maint. to keep clean and swirl free.
I like CBP the best, out of all the newer 3G colors. Lexus tri-coat white pearl owns WDP though. WDP has too much yellow tint in it IMO.

Go WDP. You will see dirt, but not spider web scratches all over the place with that color, unless you're under direct sunlight or other strong light.
With NBP, you'll see spider web scratches on the car after three months, and will probably need to get it professionally detailed once a year to get rid of them. NBP does not hide water marks well either.

NBP wins hands down, but WDP is decent. Don't get me wrong, either one you won't be disapointed. Black on Black on a car just looks amazing, especially when you had A SPEC gunmetals, V2 headlights, cleared tails. Check Blackura's ron jon car. That thing is so clean and nice !

This was my big dilema when buying my TL. IMO white and black are the only choices, by far the best colors on the TL. I chose black since my other car is black and they look kind of cool side by side. I've seen my girlfriend driving my car in traffic and black with just a slight drop really stands out. I'm happy with my decision but once in a while, I see a chick I work with driving her '07 white TL and I think about it for a sec.
FWIW, and I don't want to start a war here, but I think white looks better on the '07-08s and black looks better on the '04-'06 models.

i had a white car, then went to a black one. i wish i still had my white one...
black shows imperfections easier - nicks and dings. nothing worse than a white ding on black paint. patching on a black car would (i think) be more noticeable than patching a black ding on a white car.
also, i washed my black car this weekend and there was dust showing on it hours later. pretty disheartening imo.
all in all, just get AM and be done with it.

Had my choice wdp for me. I do like black cars (as long as there not mine) Make no mistake about it either wdp is also alot of work to keep clean. If my car stays outside or has a busy week it gets full of tiny black spots you wouldnt see on a black car. I gotta be honest I wouldnt care what color my tl type-s came in as long as I am the owner of it. lol

I like my RRRP, I tend to hate reds in general but this is a nice shade....the grays are nice, I would normally go for black but my SC400 is black and I can wash that and any other color car the same day, and that will need another wash the next day while the other still looks clean a week later. Basically, as others have said, black is a hassle and a half to keep looking sharp, but MAN when it's freshly waxed there's nothing that can compare.

PS - I really wish they would have offered a straight BLACK black....forcing metallic on you sucks IMHO, my Prizm is what they call "Black Granite" and it's the same story - all clean and waxed the best you can get is "charcoal", not BLACK

When my car is clean and parked next to my friend's black IS350, mine looks less black. I actually like it better the day after I wash it with a fine layer of dust. The metallic blue doesn't show up as much.

The best color for most cars is black or in our case Nighthawk Black Pearl. Yes it is a pain in the ass to maintain and clean, but at the end of the day it is worth it. It looks aggressive, and looks like a "guys" car. If you maintain your car well, get the NBP, if you don't get the WDP. White looks more of a luxury and older look usually I see WDP on older men/woman. NBP is the kinda color that seems like you're "young" and you drive a bad ass car ![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

If you like taking care of your car.. then get NBP.. if you don't take care about your car that much and usually leave it for a week to wash then get WDP..
simple and easy.
NBP FTW!
