i had the same problem as you when i was gettin my type s but i decided to get WDP because it hides swirl marks and dirt way better thasn NBP. Never had a black car before but from friends that have them they said its a pain in the ass.

Actually I was looking at a SSM when I bought my TL-S. My old TSX was SSM and loved the color, but the wife says "let's go with another color". I did like the WDP as well, so we went with WDP. Don't regret it at all.
I'd rather drive my car, wash my car, wax my car, make DVD-A's for my car, put new LED's in my car or discuss my car on AcuraZine than trim bushes or cut the grass.

But the Crepe Myrtle was seriously trimmed back this past spring.

Go WDP. You will see dirt, but not spider web scratches all over the place with that color, unless you're under direct sunlight or other strong light.
With NBP, you'll see spider web scratches on the car after three months, and will probably need to get it professionally detailed once a year to get rid of them. NBP does not hide water marks well either.

even with swirls black just looks better more luxurious more serious more mean
... a white car always reminds me of a car for work
thats why all that oh its easier to maintain stuff.
wax nbp one time and you'll see a big smile on ur face
.... do it with a white car it will be more like ok its good i have some protection on it

ive owned a black car and its tough to keep clean and you see every little scratch or swirl. If you go with NBP be very careful who u let wash it, if anyone

The best color for most cars is black or in our case Nighthawk Black Pearl. Yes it is a pain in the ass to maintain and clean, but at the end of the day it is worth it. It looks aggressive, and looks like a "guys" car. If you maintain your car well, get the NBP, if you don't get the WDP. White looks more of a luxury and older look usually I see WDP on older men/woman. NBP is the kinda color that seems like you're "young" and you drive a bad ass car

I just read an article in the paper that said Silver is the most popular car color....still. The next most popular color is white----followed by black.
Does that help?

When freshly waxed and clean NBP looks really good. WDP however looks great all the time, except for when the bumpers are mismatched

All in all if I had to choose, I would get WDP
