Whether to buy 2008 Acura TL Type S or not

Thinking to replace my 2007 CBP Acura TL Types S(manual with 170k miles) with a single owner pristine Silver 2008 Acura TL Type S with 64k with all options(Navigation with backup sensors), dealer maintained. Timing belt was replace around 60k.
asking 13.5k. Should I do it or not ?

why the lateral move? I get it has lower miles....but it's still a lateral move.
why not just use that money to maintain yours? it's literally the same exact car....

Perhaps he wants a separate TPMS warning lamp?

I have a cracked dash and slight wear on my front seats. but the silver one has pristine interiors and no cracked dash.
I have a BMW e46 M3 as my weekend car.
Thinking if there are any good cars that I can consider as a daily driver with the same price tag.

Sell the TL, use money for maintaining e46 as a DD

But seriously, if you can afford it, nobodys going to stop you. Though the downside being that you're obtaining a car where you don't exactly know every detail of the history, whereas you may (or may not) be familiar enough with your current car to recognize future maintenance needs. Obviously 60k miles is super low and it's likely in great condition, but that's just my logic.

Still feeling confused. Feel that it doesn't make financial sense though !! As @TheSauceBoss said , may be keep the BMW e46 m3 as my daily driver !

I personally wouldnt daily an M3 but thats just me especially if you have a daily already. Put the money in a maintenance fund and be done. I wish I had followed this advice over the years actually.

How much money would you pay on top of trading in your old 3G for the newer one?

i own both the 07 and 08 and i can see that statement above is BS.

OP i wouldnt do the swap, if you want your CBP looks nice then just work on the TLC. You will be surprise how much of a difference it makes after spending weeks trying being it back to condition.

here is mine as example.

how it looks when the wife hand me back the key vs currently.

Lets say you do buy the silver type-s, eventually those seats will wear and the dashboard will crack. So you're only buying time, but for the price difference, you could replace your dashboard and the leather seats. The only benefit, the silver one has a lot less miles, but that doesn't mean much if maintenance wasn't done.

Ebay has a dashboard for $400 OBO
