Where's Your Sweet Spot?
There's a short article in the June 2004 issue of "Sound and Vision" magazine discussing adjustment of the car audio system for optimum enjoyment. The TL is specifically mentioned!
Essentially it boils down to the driver's preferences. Since someone sits in the back seat only 10% of the time, it doesn't make a lot of sense to tune the system to an empty space.
Read the article if you get a chance.

Hey - the people in the back seat should be thanking us for letting them ride in our TL. The sound is simply a fringe benefit and they takes it as it comes!!!
Don't forget to set the bass to -2 and raise the volume - the mids and highs come right up and the whole system sounds MUCH better and cleaner.
