step 1: pull off old emblems.
step 2: clean trunk, making sure no sticky residue is left behind.
step 3: spray paint emblems whatever color you would like.
step 4: re-apply 3M tape to emblems
step 5: stick emblems to trunk.

Dude all you need is a can of plasti dip and you don't even have to remove the emblems, just peel the excess paint off the car.

I took the A off the back of my car, used a can of black spray paint I had with some clear and put it back on my car. I've gotten more compliments on that than I have on any other mod...go figure lol

step 1- no problem
step 2- takes 200 aggravating forevers
step 3- no problem
step 4- takes 200 aggravating forevers
step 5- no problem.

steps 2 and 4 are the reason I was looking for a brand new one. it takes forever to dick with emblems.

are there little holes behind the acura emblem?

You've probably spent 10-fold the time dicking around with the thread then it would to have just knocked out the emblem job on your own, you know.

Oh but they are. And that's kind of douche-y to say man, we can all afford them, we're just not dumb enough to spend $200 on $1 worth of plastic.

Marco- Thx Man! I'm painting the rims gunmetal tomorrow, will post up pics when finished

The exhaust is chopped from my custom exhaust that I sold, I have another exhaust system sitting in my garage that I'll be installing in a week or two. I hate the no-tips thing too, don't worry.

U guys think go back to tinted lights or keep the custom ones? I think with the all black and gray thing that the tinted ones might look better...

speak for u. it wasnt doche to say. Not everyone can afford to pay 200 for plastic. Or rims so they just do what you do. idk if you can/can't afford rims but its an alternative i guess.

Don't use dosche again. Makes you sound 12yo...lol.

Dude that looks sweet imho i wouldnt put film on the taillights, just paint the chrome part black. It'll def. match with the emblem and really set it off nicely.

I had 19" Privat Netz's, I sold them to BYZRYCE, I liked the stock ride quality too much. I have a 911 twin turbo as my fun car so not too much of an issue affording rims haha

(PS you misspelled "douche" twice, differently each time )

jurena- thx man, I just wanted to avoid the full day project of tearing those damn lights open again.
