Where do you guys get your oil?
I got 6.19/quart for Mobil 1 Syn (not extended life, just the normal one) at my local Autozone. Is that good/bad? Where do you guys go for the best oil prices?
Thanks!
Thanks!

You can do better that $6+ per quart. I usually go to Costco or WalMart. It runs about $4-5 per quart (sold in 4 or 5 gallon jugs). If I'm at Walmart I get the Mobil 1 filter to go with the oil. Pep Boys usually has decent, but not great prices too.

I get the 5 quart jug of Mobil-1 5w-20 at Walmart. I think it was $21, I can't remember. Your walmart sells mobil-1 filters? None of the ones around here do, I have to go to Autozone for the filter.

Five quart jug of Mobil 1 at Wally World is $20 here, everyday. Unfortunately, the only filters they have are Fram, so I go to Advance Auto Parts to pick up a Purolator PureOne filter (~$6).

[QUOTE]Is there anyone who uses K&N oil filters? The HP-1010.
Yup, I do. Expensive, but probably worth it.
Either one is not available at the "fart-marts" around here, though...but I don't shop there anyway Not a downgrade to anyone who does, I just don't agree with their ethics. Just my opinion

I don't wanna rehash the synthetic vs. dino oil debate but unless you're keeping it in the car for 15k, you're wasting your money on synthetics... these aren't turbo charged engines.

reffer to my prices above... I don't get the best prices, but I just go on ebay and buy from whoever ships for free

It would depend upon how you drive. Some hard drivers on the forum have found that the % of oil life that your MID displays goes down much faster than those that are more leisurely of pace. IMO, that would be the best judge, synthetic or not.

Busy Saturday comming up
BTW Tims price was very good at $442.95 shipped, no tax. The local Honda dealer wanted almost $700 + tax installed.

Did the oil change on the TL & running board install on the Pilot.
The bigger Mobil 1-104 raised the refill requirement to 5 quarts to bring the oil level up on the dipstick.
The running boards are a factory product & were very easy to install with pre-drilled & taped holes in the body that were plastic plugged to keep them clean.
The job took a little over an hour to do even though there were about ten thousand bolts to cinch down thanks to air tools.
