I have a strong suspicion my car was wrecked bad while in the bodyshop for a month. Where do I look on the TL for the engine and transmission numbers? Looks like the drivers side, possibly front corner was hit and transmission was replaced.

Anyone? It's got 33,xxx written on the trans in sharpie. I checked the fluid and it's burned with a ton of clutch material on the dipstick. I've driven this car very, very easy with the exception of a few short bursts.

Here's the scan for the locations. You will have to get the dealer to run an inquiry
to determine what the actual identification numbers originally were, to see if they match up.

I left the picture full size because it is too hard to see much when it is reduced to normal forum page size.
Scroll right to see the engine and transmission locations.

When I was working on my sidemarkers, I noticed a sticker inside the passenger side fender. I didn't pay much attention to it, but I think it was a VIN sticker. If you think the car was wrecked, check to see if it has that sticker.
