where to buy?? - GMSFm Fluid
Really - with a Search engine and the Yellow Pages, why do people have a cow about ordering this stuff? I just go to one of the nearby GM dealers and if they need to order it, I have it within 48 hours. Shrug.

I got mine from the local Chevy Dealership. At first they said they didn't stock the stuff but after I gave them the part number they suddenly found 12 bottles on the shelf. Most don't even know it exists so be persistant and make sure you've got the part number.
Proper Name: Synchromesh Transsmission Fluid - Friction Modified
Part Number : 12377916
Price : in the neighborhood of $11.79 per quart (you will need to buy 3 quarts)
This stuff is a semi-synthetic lubricant and is quite good.

That's what I'm talkin' 'bout!!!!
Stuff gets better all the time - I now have about 1k miles on the GMSFM in my S2000, and the shifts are smoother and more positive than at 500. Could be the CF liner on the synchro blocks take a a while to soak up the magic.
