When would Acura change TL design

I mean.. I love this third Gen and I'm thinking of getting a 06 TL .. but I hate to see the design changing on 2007.

What are your thoughts?

It should be 08 or possibly 09. Definitly not 07 for a new generation, that would only be 3 years before a redesign, not Honda's style, they usually do 4-5.

You will probably see minor changes for 07, like new lights, colors, maybe interior tweaks, etc.

Or, look at it another way, the TL lately has always been 1 year behind the Accord in changing generations. So, when the Accord comes out with a new model, you will know the TL will be the next year. (New 1998 Accord, new 1999 TL. New 2003 Accord, new 2004 TL,etc.)

I would be in agreement. With record sales, I would say 2009 model (5 year cycle) out in fall of 2008 is more likely (most makers like to get 5 years now a days to recoupe tooling costs and development).

Agree in 2007 that lights (front/rear) and maybe bumpers/wheels will get a slight refresh, no sheet steel changes though (especially with good sales).

Dealer told me that no major body changes will made until the 2009 model (will probably be available for sale late 2008). He also mentioned that this may be the first TL that will have the SH-AWD.

SH-AWD would be awsome, but in order to remain quick on its feet it would need at least a 3.5 liter engine, or this one with some sort of forced induction.
