When to wax ???

When to wax ???
Here's the deal.......... I live in Rhode Island and have had my 06 Acura TL for about 2 weeks. I know it's brand new and all shiney but I'm dying to get some wax on it before the harsh New England snow arrives........(I use and swear by Pinnacle)
Any thoughts on waxing with it being so new? Has the paint cured completely? Am I running the risk of paint damage going into winter with no wax!
1) It's been too cold roughly in the 40's 50's..........I suppose I could do it in a friends garage.....
2) Should I be waxing already ??? or wait till I get a good spring day (next April)
