When to Service Your 3G TL?

I have an 2006 TL and was wondering if anyone knows when the specified mileage to change the trans-axle fluid, & the timing belt is. I don't have a manufacturer manual for my TL yet, so if you guys could help that would be appreciated.

timing belt water pump major service at 7/105

trans fluid based on reality-- not book- every year do 3 qts of the 7 it holds
or every 30 at most do 3 of 7

brake fluid every year

see acura.com owner registration part- it will have your maitenance schedule but car needs more that just that minimum -written in a lab not in real world

As you asked for specified mileage, trans fluid 100,000 and timing belt 105,000. This mileage figure is for normal driving, not mountainous areas at low speed.

at the very least, I would change the tranny fluid every 30k miles.

where you live and how you drive can cut the suggested miles/months in half!
timing belt at 60kmiles if used in commute stop and go, mountains, track days~
hot or cold outside air temps

Pretty much operating the vehicle on Earth puts it in the Severe Service section of the maitenance schedules
Doing fluids early is ok and prevents costly problems in steering and brakes

Much of this is DIY not dealer items

I disagree, as the manufacturer lists what they considered severe service, so any departure from that is pure conjecture on your part.

Can it harm anything to change the trans fluid every 30k, oil/filter every 3k, brake fluid every year, cooling system annually, not at all except your pocketbook.

Stick by the book and you'll have no problems, at least from a preventative stand point, but it certainly can't avoid breakdowns or non maintenance related issue.

I just had the 3 x 3 transmission service done at Goodyear, and I was told the fluid was slightly brown, but not in horrible condition- this was at just under 50K miles. I also had the brake fluid changed at 50K.

Perfectly normal. The trans fluid is dyed red and will change color over time and it is not indicative of fluid that is contaminated.
