I'd have to say the Ipod adapter, makes life so much easier and it charges my phone as well. But besides that as far as performance, the Comptech Rear Sway bar

^ this. While I don't have a-spec suspension, I can safely say the Progress RSB and really good summer tires are easily the best things to happen to my TL in terms of "fun to drive" factor.

while the go fast goodies do provide a grin, the suspension goodies make my fucking face light up and I giggle like a school girl.

KP Window Roll Up. Hands down.

Use it every day!

Comptech RSB really does bring a smile to my face, too.

Precat Deletes + XLR8 Base Non-resonated exhaust with electric valve in-line so I can mute the exhaust when I pass police.

I have two.

1) Atlp j-pipe: Best bang, HP, for your $$$
2) Upgrade Base RSB to Type-S RSB. And I bet the Progress RSB is amazing!

I am going to say K&N SRI on my 06. Not performence side... just sound.
Compared it with friends 08 Type-S CAI K&N also and still much much better on mine.
That hissing sound was just too good also and it is loud.

After stage 2 exhaust it kind of went away, can't hear it that well.

Now I extended the pipe and using an AEM dryflow... I like it too. Much more deeper noise, but less hissing...

First best would be stock with SRI K&N
Then my current AEM
Then stage 2

I'd agree my ipod integration would be the most essential since I use it everyday and makes listening to music much more convenient especially with bluetooth.

On those same lines I could say gm synchromesh if you count that as a mod since I could not stand driving the car with the grind and popping out of gear before I changed the fluid.

But as far as favorite mod I might have to say springs since it changes the overall look of the car and distinguishes it from most other TLs on the road.

I'm sure the a-spec kit will end up being my favorite mod once I finally get around to installing it.

I know. There are just too many. I mean the suspension was a big difference...but that was years ago. The brakes were a big difference... But like all things you kind get used to them. And once you do, that's when you crave to do more to get that feeling back.

XLR8 Engine Torque Damper and Motor mounts, makes my car feel solid as fuck.

second is the blinking side markers, because it took me hours to do by myself and I never soldered anything in my life before that, EVER...

That looks awesome Shark. It's the same location I'm looking to mount my concealed display, but I'm not wanting to cut into the dash I don't think. I'm trying to find something that will stick sufficiently to the dash and be able to hold up the display. Any thoughts on something that might work for this?

a sticky adhesive will make for an unclean non-stock look.

255/40-17 tires on stock type-S rims. My car is still relatively stock. I want to get PCDs/exotic sounding exhaust/j-pipe/progress RSB etc.

Hard to justify sinking the $ into the mods until the car is paid off. Plus I'm still under warranty.

Next chunk of money that I spend on the car will be getting the whole front clip repainted - hood/bumper/fenders/mirrors.

^Why? Is it chipped up that bad? You'd be amazed what you can do with some touch-up paint, the proper tools, and some time.

It's well beyond touch up paint repair status. 135k highway miles won't do a unprotected front end any good.
