yall people need 2 quit wit yo bs.. real talk, imma race acuraboi wen i fix my injectors and prolly re-tune bout 2-3 weeks.. any otha tl's in tha bay wanna race we could set sumthin up afta that.. only in tha daytime in or aroun san jo an by themselves.. if u got a camcorder then thats cool.. i aint racin any other car but tl/cl/tsx/rsx so enuff wit the private messages of me racin m3's/nsx

I seem to remember you saying how you race Vipers and Corvettes and such. Why are you limiting yourself to 14 second TLs all of a sudden. Didn't think anyone would take your offer?

Damn we need to get back on topic... I was testing out the car after changing the IMRC and this taxi revved at me.. I did the usual and turned off the VSA and put it in first. When the light turned green i spun the wheels so hard I almost lost control and hit a Van in the next lane.. I felt so stupid I pulled into a gas station...

But then i put in some engine work, and whooped his ass.

When I was driving on 580 back from stockton, this yellow corvette and this red firebird go at it.. the vette obvoiusly was the faster car but the firebird was pulling some wreckless moves cutting thru traffic to keep pace.. as I was trying to catch up and see the result of the race when I looked in my rear view and seen a motorcycle cop coming up fast.. the vette noticed and slowed down as with the firebird.. the cop took the next exit and the 'bird took off and pulled ahead.....too bad he didn't notice the cop jump back on the freeway and nail him(oldest cop trick in the book)

My most embarassing loss was when I had my Maxima (low 14 second car). I pulled up the staging lane and what do I see next to me? An early 1980s slightly rusted blue-tan Ford conversion van with pimp portal windows. I start to laugh and get staged. The light goes green and that thing was gone. 13.0 to my 14.4. The I didn't notice the slicks until he was 3 cars ahead of me 100' out of the start gate. The van had fairly built 351 with a 150 shot of nitrous. According to the owner, the 4,300lb van dynoed at 480whp/600wtq.

I guess I sort of forgot about one from 5 years ago. It was one of those bad nights at the track where nothing was going right. I was having boost control issues (or lack of control) all night, boost was pretty much unlimited. I made a few high 12 second passes trying to track down the problem. This must've been some big Honda meet because that's all I lined up against.
Last run of the night, probably #6 or 7 I line up next to a little Honda hatchback. It was so loud I couldn't hear my car which had uncapped exhaust that night. I figured I would smoke him real quick and give up for the night because at this point I was just wasting gas with a bad wastegate.
The lights drop, I leave at 0 vacuum, and he leaves me out of the hole. I'm thinking no problem, I'll just reel him in. Half track comes up and he's not only ahead but still pulling away. I'm on C-14 gas but the boost will peg the 30psi guage if I go past 3/4 pedal. I have to make a decision to try and run him down and risk a blown head gasket or worse, or let him win and live to fight another day. I decide no way I'm getting beat by a Honda. I dip into the gas at nearly 3/4 track and try and modulate the gas to keep the boost just under 30psi. Doing this presents many problems like compressor surge, hotter charge air, too much timing, and not enough fuel because I'm not at WOT. I go past him with the engine popping like crazy. I went 12.7@114mph to his 13.0@106mph.
I won the race but blew one of the headgaskets so bad that I could see part of it sticking out of the motor between the head and block and if I revved it, it shot out a blue flame. I consider that one a loss...

I gotta add one! My sister's BF was fixing my brakes so I borrowed his POS ford probe with a fart can on it so I could do some errands. While on 19th ave I was admiring this 09' TL! I haven't seen many on the road and boy did she look pretty! There was something prettier sitting on the passenger side but my mind was on the car. Of course the pos probe was so loud the driver which I figure was "mom" probably thought I was trying to hit on her daughter. We were at a light and I knew she was going to gun it. My first race against a new T.L, well I got smoked..badly.. She put bus lengths on me before I knew it!! Ford sucks..lol

I haven't really ever been beat by anything (then again, most of my races have been against Accords or old, old Maxima's).
But, my worst beat down would probably be last month. We held a charity drive in which nearly everyone else besides 3 guys were running high dollar exotics. Anyways, 1 of these guys talked to me a while about the Type-S (he always liked the 3 Gen's, and was about to buy his daughter an '04). He said, after the drive, just for kicks, you wanna do a small run? I said sure. Biggest damn mistake I've ever said because 1) I didn't know what he was driving & 2) he more than likely was one of the many sporting a Porsche.
We meet up, and this mother fucka has a 599 GTB. All I could do was compliment him and back out. I told him I know when I'm beat, and he insisted, Just for fun, 10 second start. My buddy is with me and eggs me on. I agree. We go from a light, and 12 seconds later, I'm doing 85Mph and he's gone by me like I was just a Civic.....
Long story short, we go back, and I told him he was going to win. But, he was cool about it, and said I had a nice car.
Of course, I'm not embarrased I got beat by a V12 Ferrari, but more so that when he passed me, it wasn't even a slow pass. It was like the video of a Veyron taking off against a G35.

Let me just say, I didn't go around looking for a supra or a sc to race. Me and my friend went out to a local meet spot, then went to get coffee and we see a supra and the sc with a few other people. Go down the road friend races supra, i race sc. friend races sc, i race supra.
Let me put it like this, 38psi(or something crazy), huge intercooler(we didnt see), and tons of engine work. 700-800whp vs 250whp doesnt work out good at all. He pulled 2 cars within a second, and kept going.

That's the thing about those meets. People are too quick to look for races, so they BS and say it's all motor. I rejected a race from a V8 Stang owner who claimed his car was all stock til' I pointed out the new exhaust setup the lets out in front of his rear wheels, I believe Flowmasters never-the-less, the big ass Cobra R front bumper & hood, and probably some more junk he was lying about.
Next time, ask to see their engine. If they refuse, you know they're just trying to look for easy pickings which I never give 'em.

My worse loss was in my old 97 Trans Am WS-6 at US-41 drag strip in Northern Indiana, to a mid-late 80's Turbo dodge mini-van, i know it was'nt stock, not sure, but i was 18, thought i was hot shit with my almost stock TA ( exhaust, TB, airbox, gears ). Its been a while but i think he ran 13.1's to my 13.7s...
