Whats a good place to go for detailing?

I purchased my car in August 2006 and I have only washed it but I do feel that it needs a really good wash, clay, wax, etc. With the ever changing weather in Va, I put off detailing it myself and I have never tried the clay. Hall Acura offers show room detail for couple hundred bux but I they didn't mention anything about claying in their list of show room detail service. So, can anyone in the 757 area recommend a good place to get it detailed?

Why don't you detail the car yourself? If you do it alone it could be boring but if you got a few ppl (2-3) with you doing it, it'll be fun. I don't live in VA but good luck

I don't know if this will help any - Detailing Directory. You can also check some of the detailing forums and see what pops up.

I was looking for such a place in Hampton Roads area myself. I couldn't find any place that would be as anal as I am. So I gave up and did it myself. Trust me, you will do a way better job than any of those places.

Have you guys seen the thread about the Bugatti Veyron detailing and the guy used all Zymol product and he finished the job with the Zymol Royale Glaze that cost over $7,000 (Cost covers lifetime refill from Zymol)?

I agree about having the pride of doing it yourself but I am scared to use the clay and the machine buffer...neither of which I own but definitely would consider having at my disposal after seeing what they can do. It makes me sad seeing the hazing and the swirl marks all over this beautiful car.

Yeah I thought that too when I saw it but I guess it goes to show how tough the Zymol Royale Glaze is

there is nothing wrong w/ using a pressure washer on a car...you just don't want to put the nozzle very close to the paint. the type of wax/glaze/sealant on the paint won't matter as far as protecting from high pressure if it would happen to be too close.
